The work we did in last month’s Spring Yoga Calendar – Power of Light – helped us ease into spring by using the work we did during the winter to help us as we renew this spring. We kept things slow and intentional, became attuned with, and honored the return of the light in the Springtime.
We have arrived, immersed in the Spring season, fully appreciating the effect of light transforming and awakening life on Earth.

This includes the seeds of intention we planted last month.
Now, we continue to soak up the power of light my friend.
Let’s continue to embrace how the light transforms you this time of year. How it continues to power everything in nature to open up anew, to burst forth, and flourish.
Bringing us to the intention of this month’s Calendar – Flourish.
Last month we planted our seeds of intention, our seeds of new beginnings to start fresh and clean.
This month we will nourish and watch the seeds flourish and grow upward toward the sun until they are in full bloom.
Each seed has a different maturation date with various timelines to become full and fruitful. Thus, it is essential we continue to monitor and nourish their growth to ensure they can flourish fully along the way.
Therefore, we observe and tend to our seeds, adjusting care as needed so they continue to flourish.
Are they getting enough or too much water?

- Water = Time. Are you carving out enough dedicated time for your intentions (not enough water leading to seed not taking root) or are you giving too much time, overthinking or overcompensating for your new intention leading to it not being sustainable (over watering leading to drowning of the seed, never taking root).
Are they receiving enough nourishment?

- Nourishment = Mindfulness/New Behaviors. Are you being mindful of implementing any new behaviors necessary to help your intentions flourish (pruning the garden to help new plants grow) or are you letting old habits and behaviors continue to take over (not pruning the garden and letting weeds take over).
Embrace the power and beauty of your new beginning.
