Nutrition Therapy for Emotional Eating
Helping clients with Emotional Eating is something our co-founder and Lead Dietitian, Ashley, is very passionate about. As Registered Dietitian Nutritionists, Ashley and her team have followed this calling helping hundreds of individuals heal their relationship with food. 

You’ll work directly with one of our Registered Dietitians who will help you understand the relationship between emotions and eating habits to uncover the underlying mechanisms leading to emotional eating.

Whether you identify with stress eating, boredom eating, or more generally just as someone who “eats their feelings” we’ll help you find balance and heal your relationship with food.

Additionally, as part of your Emotional Eating focused integrative care at Awakened Actions you may also work with Adam. Adam will provide behavior modifications for mindful eating or eating with awareness. This work is influenced by John-Kabat Zinn’s MBSR program and The Center for Mindful Eating.

Lastly, the use of mind-body interventions like yoga and meditation are known for increasing mind-body awareness and  mindfulness. This increased awareness can have significant impact with our relationship with food and our emotions. In fact, this is why Ashley became a Registered Yoga Teacher and started the Awakened Actions YouTube Yoga Channel. Ashley’s client would present with a disconnected relationship with food and body signals stemming from being disconnected from their body. Yoga is a gentle, natural way to reconnect the body and mind.
