For many of us, there is something that can speak even louder than Mother Nature this time of year. 

No matter your level of involvement with it, it is everywhere and it is hard to not be affected by it. 

It is a strong force.

The emotions of it can be like a roller coaster from joyful and uplifting, to loneliness and heartache or stress, anxiety, and frustration. 

Yes my friend, I am referencing the holiday season.

Many of us often put our self-care or self-love intentions on pause and begin to move our focus outward to doing our traditional holiday activities like going to extra events, seeing friends and family, shopping, and more…  Even though mother nature is clearly showing us signs that it is time to move inward.

Winter is upon us! Is it not time to hibernate and move within?  

That’s right, to top off the busy holiday season, this month also brings in another seasonal transition from autumn to winter. As you may recall, seasonal transitions in and of themselves can require extra attention to remain balanced and to flow with Mother Nature as she transforms.

So how do we even begin to continue this work we have been doing all year with our own personal intentions? How do we continue to flow with nature while still allowing ourselves to enjoy the beauty and joy of this time of year?!?

The energy of the holiday seasons is not easy as there is much to balance. 

Given this, we are going to keep the focus of this month’s Yoga with the Seasons calendar simple and straightforward. The intention of this month’s calendar is YOU.

Simply being a little more present and connected with how you are feeling physically, mentally and emotionally… and honoring it, rather than ignoring it or pushing it down or pushing through it.
